BRIDGE SIG

The Bridge Sig schedules the games for 6 months at a time -- May and October.
However, new members are welcome to contact me at any time. I will endeavor
to arrange at least one bridge game for them to join before the next scheduling. If they like the set-up, I list them as a substitute who may be able to fill in if someone cannot make the scheduled date. I get all their planned first Sunday and third Fridays that they already have something planned for - before I do the schedule. But plans can go awry and then we call subs or members not playing that night. We accept singles or couples -- with couples only one has to be a Mensan.

I generally don't add someone to the bridge club without a try-out -- not as a player but to see if they like our set-up; if they don't like it I'm stuck changing and finding subs for however many months are left before the next schedule. We don't take people from out of state; but we have Wisconsin players as far as 30 miles from MIlwaukee

We do have gourmet dinners once a year and anyone that goes down pays 10
cents for each down, which goes to MoWF. Some years MoWF does right well,
when we don't.
