Lunch
May's merriest day of the month will be the 17th, when we travel to Lake City, which is on the Minnesota side of Lake Pepin. We will meet at the Rhythm and Brew Coffee House, where you can order a breakfast which is served all day, or a light lunch. They are committed to using local natural and organic ingredients, and freshly baked goods. On a trial run, we had some great food, and spotted a large round table just waiting for an affable group of Mensans to fill it. For RSVP and directions, contact Shirley Porrazzo.

DINNER AND A BOOKSTORE
Join Karen and Ron Corlyn at the Peony Chinese restaurant, located at 11120 W. Bluemound Rd., for dinner. The menu has a wide selection of dishes you will recognize and there is another menu of traditional entrees and a very creative dim sum list you might want to venture to try. Food quality is excellent, the staff is always anxious to please, and they are happy to provide separate checks. There's plenty parking. Please get in touch with Karen to RSVP before Saturday noon so we know how big a table to reserve.

Bookstore 8:00 P.M.
After dinner, we migrate over to Mayfair at the Barnes and Noble bookstore. We usually find tables in the first floor coffee shop, where we gather to chat, browse, and have dessert (there are some interesting chocolate things) or beverages or whatever (some even feel the need to buy books) until nearly 11:00, when they ask everyone in the store to please find the door.
NOTE: If you can't make it to the food part, please join us at the bookstore. No need to RSVP if you're coming only to the bookstore.
