THE MENSA HOME TEST IS AVAILABLE
The Mensa Home Test is designed to give you an understanding of what to expect from American Mensa's supervised test. However, it is not mandatory for membership, cannot be used as qualifying evidence of prior testing, and will only be scored for those age 14 and older. The Mensa Home Test can only be purchased with a valid U.S. address.
The test can only be scored if it is taken in its entirety, and an English-based verbal section is included in this test. We understand this section might not show a true indication of the abilities of some applicants who might qualify for a culture fair test. We do offer a culture fair, language-free test for admission into Mensa. Please contact your local Testing Coordinator about culture fair testing.
Send a check for $18, made out to MOW and mail it to the address below. The test will be mailed to you within one or two days. Mail the check and your mailing address to:

 Mensa c/o Frommer
12360 N. Lakeshore Drive
Mequon, WI 53092-3354

NO TESTS PLANNED FOR THIS MONTH

Each testing session comprises two or more tests. Score high enough on any one and you will be invited to join. The test session costs $40 and you may pay with cash or a check made out to American Mensa, Ltd. The total time for the standard Mensa test battery is about two hours, with a brief break in between the two tests. Staff, under the direction of our Supervisory Psychologist at National, will grade the tests and inform you in two to three weeks whether or not you qualify.

These tests are suitable for anyone age 14 or over, but those under 18 must arrive with a parent or legal guardian who will sign a permission slip. That guardian does not stay in the testing room, unless they, too, wish to test. Photo ID is required. Reservations recommended; walk-ins welcome, if there is room. You'll be filling out a registration form when you arrive, so please allow time for this.

There are also other ways to qualify, namely, pre-existing test scores. Go to the American Mensa website. Here you will see a list of tests Mensa accepts and the applicable years and scores. Contact the local Testing Coordinator if further searching on that site doesn't answer your questions.
